Mountain Creek is teaming up with NJ TRANSIT to provide transportation to Mountain Creek Ski Resort and a discount of up to $10 off lift tickets*.
For the 2009/2010 winter season service between the Mountain Creek Resort in Vernon Township, the Wayne Transit Center in Wayne and the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City will operate as a special seasonal extension of NJ Transit's No. 194 Newfoundland-New York line.
Daily: Saturday, December 26th - Sunday, January 3rd
Weekends: Saturday, January 9th - Sunday, March 7th
Holidays: New Year's Day (Friday, January 1st), MLK Day (Monday, January 18th) and Presidents' Day (Monday, February 15th)
NJ TRANSIT will use 45' MCI Cruiser buses from Wayne Garage on this service. This type of bus has 57 seats with very limited on-board overhead storage capacity. There is storage capacity for luggage and ski equipment in the underneath storage compartments. NJT staff assistance is required to access the underneath storage compartments prior to boarding. There are no lavatory facilities on the buses used on this service.

* Wayne Transit Center is 1000+ space park & ride facility – The facility is located on NJ 23 South at the West Belt Road interchange in Wayne, just north of I-80. A $2.00/day parking fee is charged to patrons using this facility. Overnight parking is available.

Passengers will be advised to purchase tickets prior to boarding. Passengers are advised to arrive at the above departure locations at least 15 minutes in advance of departure time.

In addition, for those passengers already holding a NJT 10-trip ticket or monthly pass for 11 interstate zones of travel or 6 intrastate zones of travel or greater, their tickets will also be accepted on this service.
TO REDEEM THE LIFT TICKET DISCOUNT: To take advantage of this offer present your NJ TRANSIT yellow fare receipt from the Bus Driver of the Bus Route No. 194 to the Mountain Creek admission office. The NJ TRANSIT bus receipt must be dated for the same day to the admission office otherwise regular rates apply.
