Mountain Creek Waterpark is pleased to announce the third annual Junior Girl Scout Day will be held on Saturday, June 16th.
This informative and fun program promotes water and sun safety and awareness through local Girl Scout Councils, including the Girl Scout Council of Bergen County, the Lenni-Lenape Council and the Morris Area Girl Scout Council.
This program, which combines fun and learning for junior girl scouts ranging in age from 8 to 11, enables scouts to earn a “Water Fun” patch while learning about proper use of personal floatation devices, basic swim strokes, sun protection and avoiding dehydration. After completing the patch workshops, taught by Mountain Creek Waterpark staff with assistance from a select group of senior Girl Scouts, the scouts will spend the rest of the day enjoying the waterpark.
