Jan. 13th:

The weather is getting back to where it needs to be this time of year, and the snowmakers are itching to get back out there and hike around in the freezing cold while we're all sleeping - they're a crazy bunch, but we love 'em. Today is sunny and mostly clear, and there's some new features out on bear from last nights event for y'all to enjoy... ...and speaking of last night - holy wow. It was so awesome, the only way to describe it is in text message form: OMG! LNWSFA!! JMT & H18?!? IWTC...IDKHIGH!!!! Special thanks to 6th Boro, the Brothers Hession, mountain ops, the event crew, park staff, security, and all the rest who helped make it one of the most memorable nights in a long time.

Another new little perk for all you pay-by-the-day'ers...starting this weekend you can get a 2-fer ticket: buy one day (weekend or midweek) and get a $5 off, direct to lift ticket for another weekend or midweek day (bonus ticket will be the same as ticket purchased, weekend or midweek).

Jan. 11th:

Despite the periodically questionable weather we're having today, the mountain is open. So, if you're the type that some like to call "die hard", or you just want to enjoy a relatively uncrowded Friday, come on out - there's snow to be had. Don't fret though, boys and girls - there's cold 'a comin. The guns will be back on within the next day or two, adding even more white to the trails.

REMEMBER - this saturday the 12th at south is the 3rd Rail competition, with tons of prizes...also, there's the free show at 10pm by Jedi Mind Tricks, so even if you're not riding, come on out for an awesome time. After party in Kink is gonna go off...
Registration will be held in the back of the rental shop in South Lodge between 4 and 5pm. There's a $20 entry fee, but all that cash collected is going right back out to the winner. oh, one more thing - helmets are required for this event, so bring one... Get the details >>

Oh and... thanks to all you die hards that still came out yesterday and gathered and sessioned the junkyard pieces. It was rad- pictures are up.
