[1] DO I NEED TO BE A CERTAIN AGE OR HEIGHT TO SNOW TUBE?

[2] WHERE IS SNOW TUBING LOCATED?
Snow tubing is located across the street from the Vernon Base Plaza, and is accessible from any of the parking lots on the Vernon side of our resort. There is no snow tubing access at Mountain Creek South.
[3] CAN MY CHILD RIDE ON MY LAP?
For the safety of all of our guests and staff, Mountain Creek Resort does not permit riders to carry other persons on their lap, and restricts tubing runs to one tube on one run at a time. Tube "chains" are not permitted.
[4] HOW SHOULD I DRESS FOR SNOW TUBING?
Dress for winter weather! Wear a hat, gloves, boots, a warm wind and/or water resistant jacket, and snow pants if you prefer. As always, the best way to stay warm is to dress in layers, which allows the removal of clothing if you become warm, and the addition of clothing if the temperature drops. If you forget any clothing items, stop into our retail stores in the Vernon Base area.
[5] IS SNOW TUBING SAFE?
Snow tubing, like skiing or snowboarding, is an adventure sport, and therefore does have some inherent risks. Mountain Creek does everything possible to operate a safe snow tubing park. Our lifts are inspected by state inspectors annually, and also receive a daily pre-operation safety inspection. Our friendly staff undergoes many hours of training prior to working, receiving instruction, checklists and manuals to ensure the safety of the guests and staff. If you have concerns about safety or anything else during your visit with us, please speak to one of our friendly staff members - they'll be happy to help.
[6] IS IT POSSIBLE FOR SNOW TUBING SESSION TO SELL OUT?
Yes. Due to the popularity of this great family activity, it is possible that any tubing session will sell out, especially on weekends and holidays. In order to provide the most exciting and safe experience for our tubing guests, it is necessary for us to limit the amount of people in the tubing area. Once all tickets are sold for a session, that session is closed. The best way to guarantee your tubing spot is to book in advance! You may book your tubing session online or via telephone (starting in December). Online tubing reservations must be made a minimum of 3 days prior to your planned trip. Telephone bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your planned session. Call 973-864-8128. Please read through our
Snow Tubing page for tubing ticket rates and information.

email newsletter or our
email mountain reports. Once open for the season, Tubing is open Thursdays and Fridays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and weekends and holidays from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM.On weekends and holidays, tubing is closed from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM for slope grooming.
