Paint the Mountain Pink is a 2 day long series of events and activities supporting Breast Cancer awareness.

 

K2 SNOWBOARDING PRETTY IN PINK RAIL JAM
Friday, January 22nd

Hey ladies!  K2 Pretty in Pink is back again this year kicking off our Paint the Mountain Pink weekend.  This GIRLS ONLY rail jam will allow the ladies to showcase their skills front and center in the South base area as they compete for a boatload of prizes. This year we'll be offering 2 Divisions (16 & Under and Open) as well as a High Ollie contest.  This is a FREE event.  All participants will need to complete a participation waiver, if you're under 18 your parent will need to sign for you.  HELMETS ARE REQUIRED for this event.

5:30PM Rider Practice
6PM Qualifiers
7:30PM High Ollie Contest
8PM Finals 9PM Awards

TUBBS EVENING STROLL
Friday, January 22nd

The Tubbs Evening Stroll is a casual moonlit guided snowshoe walk around the woods of the South base area.   Expert and beginner alike will enjoy this unique mountain experience.  Take in the wonders of winter at night with this guided, evening snowshoe walk. Then join us after the walk for cookies and hot cocoa at the welcome reception.

5:00PM Check in at the South Lodge Parents Lounge 
6PM Stroll Begins
Welcome Reception Immediately to Follow 6-8PM
Romp to Stomp Priority Early Check In

Tubbs Snowshoes and Princeton Tec Headlamps will be providing free snowshoes and headlamps for those who need.

TUBBS ROMP TO STOMP
Saturday, January 23rd

Bring the world one stomp closer to wiping out Breast Cancer for good.  Paint the Mountain Pink continues on Saturday with the Tubbs Romp to Stomp.  Tubbs Romp to Stomp is a charity event benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.  Participants will get a true mountain top experience as they ride the cabriolet to the top of the mountain where they'll strap on snowshoes to stomp their way to a world without breast cancer.  Participate in a 3k or 5k Snowshoe Walk or the 3k Snowshoe Race.

8AM Check in Begins at Appalachian Hotel - Farm Room
9AM 3K Race Begins
9:30AM 3K & 5K Charity Walks Begin
11AM - Closing Ceremonies & Awards

Snowshoe Demos will be available throughout the morning

Susan G. Komen Foundation and Rippel Breast Center will be on-site providing education and prevention information.
